And in general it works well.However, the outgoing call quality is completely abysmal, and because of that this phone is totally unsuitable for any kind of conversation. People literally could not understand a single word I said. I called my own cell phone to hear the problem firsthand. Words are robotic and garbled. Maybe one syllable in 10 comes through clearly. It's incredible that this product is even for sale. (Incoming call quality is OK, though not nearly as good as Skype on my computer. Think cellphone quality.) Another minor annoyance is that the keys need to be pressed quite firmly to register, but this seems like a silly point compared to the call quality. There is a lookup table accessible by the "@ #" button to enter further non-standard characters that might be in an email address. Entering an email address does find the related Skype contact. I can key in new contacts faster at the computer; the telephone unit updates automatically to match the computer contact list. I can log in using a different Skype account. Incoming calls ring at the devices that are logged into Skype. If both are logged out, voicemail picks up at once.
